Mumbai, June 12 -- In a raid, the Food Safety Department has uncovered a case involving the sale of substandard and misleading products under the label of "Rabdi Kulfi," raising fresh concerns about food adulteration and consumer safety.

Acting on specific information, food safety officials conducted a surprise inspection at a manufacturing unit in Mumbai's Kandivali area on Friday. During the raid, authorities found a large stock of so-called Rabdi Kulfi and other dairy-based products.

Preliminary investigations revealed several irregularities in the manufacturing process, prompting officials to seize the products and initiate further action.
