Kolkata, May 30 -- In a politically significant move, Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee is likely to attend the meeting of INDIA bloc scheduled on June 6.

The decision to join the crucial meeting amidst volatile political situation came after Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi spoke to the former chief minister of West Bengal on Thursday for more than half an hour.

According to the political observers, Mamata's going to the meeting is politically significant amid growing uncertainty over the future of the opposition coalition following a string of electoral setbacks suffered by several of its key constituents.
