Hanamkonda, July 22 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday strongly condemned the arrest of Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, MP Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress leaders, describing it as an "insult to the Constitution and democracy."Bhatti Vikramarka, along with Endowments Minister Konda Surekha, staged a protest at the Dr B R Ambedkar statue in Hanamkonda Centre against the arrest of Congress leaders, who had protested near the Prime Minister's residence over the alleged police crackdown on students demonstrating at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against the NEET irregularities.
