New Delhi, July 29 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday sharpened his attack on the Narendra Modi government, union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, accusing the Centre of orchestrating a violent crackdown on student protesters and alleging that the country's education system had effectively been taken over by the RSS.
Addressing a press conference after a stormy debate in the Lok Sabha on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, Gandhi said he was using the briefing to complete the arguments that he could not finish in Parliament after parts of his speech were expunged amid repeated objections from Treasury benches.
