New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Monday intensified his attack on the government over the alleged use of excessive force against student protesters in Delhi, insisting that union Home Minister Amit Shah must directly answer Parliament on the issue and take responsibility for the actions of the Delhi Police.
Speaking to reporters alongside Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge at the AICC headquarters, Gandhi said he was not interested in what Shah might say in the Lok Sabha but wanted the Home Minister to account for the alleged police action against students protesting at Jantar Mantar over irregularities in the NEET examination.
