India, after winning the toss and electing to bat, appeared comfortably placed when Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rahul were progressing smoothly. Jaiswal had struck five boundaries in his 32 off 37 balls before an extraordinary mix-up ended his innings in the 11th over.
