New Delhi, June 26 -- India spinner Radha Yadav has welcomed the ICC's Player Protection Programme, saying it provides much-needed support for cricketers dealing with abuse on social media. More than 100 women players have signed up for the initiative during the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026.

The programme, launched by the ICC in partnership with Freedom2hear, is designed to protect players from online abuse by filtering harmful comments and restricting repeat offenders across social media platforms.
