New Delhi, June 21 -- With the monsoon approaching, the Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) on Sunday carried out a comprehensive city-wide pothole repair drive across the national capital as part of its pre-monsoon preparedness efforts to ensure road safety and smooth traffic flow.
Engineers, field staff, and maintenance teams of the department were deployed across the city to repair identified potholes on a priority basis before the onset of heavy rains.
As part of the drive, Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Verma took to the streets on Sunday, personally inspecting ongoing repair works at multiple locations and reviewing the progress.
