Puri, June 2 -- : Two couples were involved in separate suspected suicide attempts in Puri district on Tuesday, with one couple found dead and another rescued in a critical condition, police said on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a husband and wife were found hanging inside their locked house at Arjunsinghpur village under the jurisdiction of the Satasankha police outpost in Pipili area.
The deceased were identified as Bhaskar Chandra Das (40), a night watchman employed at an Aero-com Cushion factory, and his wife Kajol Das.
