Panchkula, July 13 -- Members of the Punjabi Khatri Suraksha Manch urged the Haryana Government to enact a law to curb the use of derogatory terms against members of the Punjabi Arora-Khatri community, including "refugee" and "Pakistani."The demand was raised during a function organised by the Hansi unit of the forum at the local Rest House, where Haryana Trade Welfare Board Chairman Rajesh Thakral was accorded a warm welcome with flower garlands and a traditional turban.
The delegation, led by Hansi district president Keshav Dhamija, submitted its demand to the Chairman, requesting that he take up the matter with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
