Chandigarh, Sept. 9 -- The arrest of a man in the killing of Punjabi social media influencer Manjeet Kaur has led Chandigarh Police to investigate whether she was fatally assaulted in the city itself, challenging the initial account that she was taken to Punjab before being attacked.
Parminder Singh, alias Pinda, of Kapurthala, is the first person arrested in the case. Police are searching for two other suspects, Rinku and Shubhi.
Investigators believe Rinku could hold the key to what happened to Kaur after she reached Chandigarh's Sector 34 on the night of July 3.
