Chandigarh, May 4 -- In a significant breakthrough against organized crime, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of the Punjab Police, in a joint operation with central agencies and the Tripura Police, has arrested a key shooter involved in a high-profile murder case.
The accused, identified as Aditya, alias Makhan, was apprehended in Agartala, Tripura, for his alleged involvement in the sensational killing of Kabaddi promoter Rana Balachauria.
The victim, Rana Balachauria, was murdered in Village Sohana, Sector-79, SAS Nagar, on December 15, 2025.
