Chandigarh, April 23 -- In a significant operation aimed at strengthening state security, the Amritsar Commissionerate Police has successfully dismantled a cross-border smuggling network, leading to the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of substantial quantities of narcotics and sophisticated weaponry.

Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav announced on Thursday that the operation resulted in the recovery of 915 grams of ICE (Methamphetamine) and five high-grade pistols. The individuals taken into custody have been identified as Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukha, Sola Singh alias Sonu, and Karan Singh, all natives of village Sahanke in the Ferozepur district.
