In Barnala's Shehna village, a 66-year-old man, identified as Bhushan Kumar Mittal, died of a heart attack while waiting in a long queue for an LPG cylinder.
According to local reports, Mittal had been standing in line since 8:00 AM and was 25th in the queue when he suddenly collapsed after nearly two hours of waiting. His family has taken the body home as local authorities begin an investigation into the incident.
