Chandigarh, July 7 -- Punjab-based social media influencer Ranjit Kaur, popularly known as "Bhabhi Chummewali", has landed in fresh controversy after an FIR was registered against her and her husband, Jinda Hans, over allegations of uploading obscene content and hurting religious sentiments through their social media videos.
The case was registered at Ludhiana's Moti Nagar Police Station under Sections 67 and 67A of the Information Technology Act following a complaint by Nihang leader Manpreet Singh Khalsa. Police said the allegations mentioned in the complaint are under investigation and further action will depend on the outcome of the probe.
