Chandigarh, April 16 -- Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh on Thursday inaugurated the newly renovated Directorate of Health Services (ESI) headquarters in Punjab.
The directorate has been upgraded at a cost of approximately Rs 21 lakh.
Following the ceremony, the Minister led a high-level review meeting to assess the operational progress and upcoming expansion of the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) healthcare network.
Dr. Balbir Singh reiterated the state government's dedication to providing comprehensive social security and health coverage to 15 lakh insured workers and their families, totaling 30 lakh beneficiaries, through a strengthened infrastructure comprising six specialized hospitals and 69 dispensaries....
