Chandigarh, March 18 -- In a landmark move to elevate the state's school education system to international standards, the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government today officially launched "Punjab Sikhya Kranti 2.0".
This ambitious second phase of educational reform involves a massive investment of Rs 3,500 crore over the next six years. A key highlight of the mission is a strategic partnership with the World Bank, which will provide Rs 2,500 crore in loan assistance, complemented by a Rs 1,000 crore contribution from the state exchequer.
