Chandigarh, Aug. 2 -- Issuing a strong warning over the growing menace of substance abuse, Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria today said that drug addiction poses one of the gravest threats to India's future and urged every community to take responsibility for keeping its youth away from narcotics.

"If every community succeeds in protecting its youth from drugs, the entire society will become drug-free," he said while addressing a national seminar titled "Let's Build a Drug-Free Future Together" at Jat Bhawan in Chandigarh.
