Chandigarh, April 16 -- Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, heading the Cabinet Sub-Committee on employee grievances, conducted a series of high-level marathon meetings at Punjab Bhawan on Thursday to address long-standing demands of various workers' unions.
Reaffirming the state government's commitment under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Minister stated that the administration is focused on the time-bound resolution of legitimate concerns.
He issued strict directives to department heads to prioritise administrative demands and emphasised that the government is formulating a comprehensive plan to ensure employees receive their rightful dues without encountering future legal obstacles.
