Chandigarh, May 28 -- In a first-of-its-kind initiative in Punjab, residents will be able to track the results of the ongoing urban local body elections online from their homes as counting for 104 civic bodies begins on Friday morning.
Punjab State Election Commissioner Raj Kamal Chaudhuri said the results would be made available through the official website of the State Election Commission. A dedicated counting link will be activated on the portal to provide ward-wise updates as the counting process progresses.
