Chandigarh, Oct. 9 -- The Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the Haryana government to put further teacher transfers on hold until the next hearing on November 11, expressing strong displeasure over what it described as the authorities' evasive and non-cooperative approach in responding to a petition challenging the ongoing transfer exercise.
Justice Harpreet Singh Brar issued the interim directions while hearing a petition filed by Hazari Lal and others, who have challenged the state government's current teacher transfer drive.
