Chandigarh, May 7 -- In a decisive move against the sale of spurious agricultural products, the Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department on Thursday raided a residential premises in Faridkot, unearthing an unauthorized fertilizer and pesticide packaging facility.
Following the operation, an FIR has been registered at the Faridkot City Police Station against the property owner, identified as Rajinder Sethi, for allegedly operating the unit without any statutory approvals or valid licenses.
