Chandigarh, April 18 -- In a shocking incident that has sent waves of panic through the academic community, a 36-year-old female teacher and two young students were injured in a brutal acid attack inside a government primary school in Gurdaspur district today.
The perpetrator, identified as the teacher's own nephew, allegedly stormed into the classroom while lessons were in progress and doused the victim with acid before fleeing the scene. Local police acted swiftly following the assault, apprehending the suspect within hours of the incident.
The victim, identified as Lakhwinder Kaur, was conducting a class at the Government Primary School in Mahimadpur village around 10:30 AM when the assailant entered the room carrying a bottle of acid....
