Chandigarh, May 25 -- Senior Punjab bureaucrats have come under scrutiny after allegations surfaced that the state's Chief Secretary and Housing Secretary or their family members purchased land in environmentally sensitive "covered areas" around Chandigarh, despite restrictions imposed under existing land-use and farmhouse policies.
