Mumbai, July 7 -- Two Mumbai-bound lanes on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway's Missing Link are open after a landslide, but one lane remains blocked due to water flow from a collapsed channel.

The Missing Link was partially reopened late Monday night, nearly 19 hours after a landslide forced its closure, officials said.

Traffic from Mumbai to Pune resumed at 10:10 pm on July 6 following debris clearance and safety inspections near Tunnel 2 in the Lonavala section, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) said.

The official also said that the Rs 7,000-crore Missing Link tunnel remains structurally safe despite damage to its entrance following heavy rainfall.
