Pune, Sept. 10 -- The renovated and expanded areas of Pune Airport's old terminal building are expected to be opened for passengers soon, with only the final clearance from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) remaining, union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol said.

Mohol inspected the renovated Old Terminal Building, including the expanded check-in and security hold areas.

The renovation has been undertaken to accommodate the rising passenger traffic and ease congestion during peak hours.
