Public welfare schemes of Irrigation and Water resources department to be widely promoted through special campaign in UP

Lucknow, June 1 -- The Uttar Pradesh government will launch a major outreach campaign to publicise the public welfare schemes and achievements of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department among the people.

The campaign is expected to directly benefit farmers as well as other sections of society. It will commence on June 5.

In this regard, an important meeting was held at the Irrigation Department headquarters under the chairmanship of Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh on Sunday evening.
