Ranchi, March 14 -- Several public issues, including illegal drug trade, displacement, prison security, pharmacy council appointments and drinking water shortage, were raised during the budget session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly on Saturday.
During the Question Hour, the proceedings remained peaceful as members from both the treasury and opposition benches raised queries on various matters. Issues related to allotment of houses for displaced families of Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), jail security and the growing drug menace were also discussed in the House.
