Chikkamagaluru (Karnataka), Aug. 24 -- A social media post featuring a 40-foot cutout of Tipu Sultan accompanied by a song carrying provocative references to Pakistan and Mujahideen has triggered a police case and heightened security in Karnataka's Chikkamagaluru ahead of an Eid Milad procession.
Police registered an FIR at Chikkamagaluru Town Police Station following a complaint by PSI Dhanraj, who alleged that the Instagram post could disturb communal harmony and hurt religious sentiments.
