Glasgow, July 26 -- India's women's artistic gymnastics team crashed out of the race for team medals after finishing fifth in Subdivision 3 of the Commonwealth Championships here, though Protistha Samanta and Olympian Pranati Nayak kept the country's medal hopes alive by staying in contention for the individual vault final.
The Indian quartet of Pranati Nayak, Protistha Samanta, Nishka Agarwal and Eshitaa Rewale totalled 93.150 points after three rotations and remained fifth after completing the final floor exercise, leaving them well outside the medal positions in the team competition.
