Kolhapur/Ratnagiri, June 27 -- Senior BJP leader and MP Narayan Rane has strongly backed the proposed nuclear power projects, such as Jaitapur and Devgad, in the Konkan region.
He said that both projects would help boost regional development, generate massive employment for local youth, and provide electricity, and issued strict warnings to those opposing these developments.
Talking to reporters at Ratnagiri district collector office, Rane argued that large-scale industrial projects are critical to combat unemployment and reverse the migration of educated youth out of Konkan districts.
