Coimbatore, April 15 -- Terming the union government's proposed increase in Lok Sabha under delimitation as an "illusion', veteran Congress leader and former union Minister P Chidambaram said this planned move would reduce the voice of Southern states in Parliament.
Talking to reporters in this Textile city in the midst of election campaigning for the candidates of the ruling DMK-led Front, Mr Chidambaram termed it as planned move by the BJP Government and questioned the timing as the Special Session of Parliament has been convened at the height of electioneering in two important states of Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
