Srinagar, Sept. 17 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday attached properties belonging to notorious terrorists from Kupwara district who are currently operating from Pakistan.
The properties were attached on the orders of J&K Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, officials said.
The attached properties include 15 kanals of land and two residential houses belonging to Abdul Majeed Qureshi and his nephew, Parvaiz Ahmed Qureshi, both residents of Kralpora in Kupwara.
According to official sources, Majeed had exfiltrated to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in the early 1990s, while his nephew, Parvaiz, crossed the Line of Control in 2022 and is currently based in PoK.
