New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Narendra Modi government over unemployment, alleging that the failure to create sufficient jobs and shortcomings in the education system had left young people increasingly frustrated and disappointed.

In a post on social media platform X, Priyanka Gandhi claimed that unemployment had reached its highest level in four decades and said the growing sense of unrest among the youth was a result of prolonged policy failures.

"The unemployment rates are the highest they have ever been in 40 years. There's a lot of unrest, disappointment, and frustration among the youth," she said.
