Bengaluru/Delhi, June 2 -- Congress MLA and former Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge on Tuesday met Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi amid intense consultations over the formation of the new Karnataka Cabinet ahead of the swearing-in of Chief Minister-designate DK Shivakumar on June 3.
The meeting assumes significance as the Congress leadership is engaged in finalising the composition of the new ministry following Shivakumar's election as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
