Glasgow, Aug. 1 -- India's remarkable boxing campaign at the Commonwealth Games gathered further momentum as Priya Ghanghas clinched a place in the women's 60kg final, extending the country's perfect record to 7-0 in the semifinals here.

The Indian boxer overcame England's Lucy Kings-Wheatley in a gripping semifinal after withstanding a spirited fightback from the home favourite.

Priya made a confident start, taking the opening round 4-1 on the judges' scorecards with crisp combinations and effective ring control. Kings-Wheatley responded strongly in the second round, winning it by the same 4-1 margin to leave the contest evenly poised heading into the decisive final three minutes.
