New Delhi, Aug. 7 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a breakfast meeting with newly inducted National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Members of Parliament, urging them to actively participate in debates during the ongoing Monsoon Session and reaffirming that every ally would receive equal importance within the ruling coalition as it seeks to strengthen parliamentary coordination ahead of key legislative business.

The meeting, attended by 26 recently inducted NDA MPs, included 20 lawmakers who broke away from the Trinamool Congress (TMC) to form the Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI), as well as six former Uddhav Sena MPs who have aligned with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena.
