Kurukshetra, Oct. 19 -- President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to attend a programme marking Swami Shraddhanand's birth anniversary at Gurukul Kurukshetra on November 1, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena said on Monday, directing officials to complete security, traffic and emergency arrangements ahead of the visit.
Chairing a preparatory meeting at the institution, Meena said the President would also be apprised of Gurukul's historical significance and Vedic traditions. A final rehearsal will be held on October 30.
"All preparations must be completed on time and in accordance with protocol. There should be no shortcomings on the administration's part," he said.
