Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, June 13 -- President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday reviewed the Passing Out Parade of the 158th Regular Course and the 141st Technical Graduate Course at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, describing the commissioning of nine women cadets as a historic milestone for both the Academy and the country's armed forces. A total of 481 Indian Gentleman Cadets, along with 34 foreign cadets from 16 friendly nations, passed out during the ceremony.
Addressing the newly commissioned officers, the President said the IMA remains a symbol of honour, courage and selfless service to the nation, having produced generations of military leaders who have defended India's frontiers under the most challenging circumstances.
