Lucknow, March 9 -- The Prerna Canteen initiative, launched by the Uttar Pradesh government to promote economic empowerment among rural women, is showing encouraging results, with more than 10,000 women reportedly becoming "lakhpatis" through the scheme.

Inspired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the initiative has expanded across the state, providing women associated with self-help groups a sustainable source of income and opportunities for financial independence.
