New Delhi, Aug. 6 -- The Delhi Government and the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) have assured comprehensive arrangements for Chhath Mahaparv 2026 following a series of meetings with representatives of Chhath Puja committees, who sought improved civic amenities and better coordination for the annual festival.

A delegation of the Indraprastha Chhath Puja Mahasangh Foundation, along with representatives of various Chhath Puja Committees, led by Delhi BJP Purvanchal Morcha President Santosh Ojha, met Delhi Government Minister Kapil Mishra, DDA Member Rajiv Babbar and DDA Vice Chairman N Saravana Kumar. The delegation submitted a detailed memorandum outlining requirements for the smooth conduct of the festival.
