New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- A 30-year-old Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posted with the Ministry of Defence was found dead at her residence in Delhi's Bharthal village area under Sector-23 Dwarka police station on August 21.
Police have registered a case of abetment of suicide against her husband and members of her matrimonial family after her parents later levelled allegations in a complaint submitted before the SDM.
According to police, a PCR call regarding an alleged suicide was received at Police Station Sector-23, Dwarka, at 4:21 pm on August 21.
The deceased was identified as Nazia Khanam, daughter of Towab Khan. Police said her body was taken into possession and the concerned SDM was informed as per procedure.
