Patna, Aug. 1 -- Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor today said he had submitted a written complaint to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Bihar against the Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and other police officials, alleging that they attempted to influence the Bankipur Assembly by-election.
Addressing media persons, Kishor said he, along with his supporters, met the Chief Electoral Officer in Patna and submitted documentary evidence alleging "anti-democratic activities" by the Patna Police during the July 30 election process.
According to Kishor, the complaint accuses the Patna SSP and subordinate police officers of acting in a manner that affected the fairness of the electoral process.
