Pune, Sept. 26 -- Power supply remained largely uninterrupted during the Ganesh immersion processions in Pune, including the traditional procession route along Laxmi Road, despite large crowds reported across several parts of the city, officials said.
Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) had undertaken preventive maintenance, technical inspections and preparedness measures ahead of the immersion processions.
Officials and line staff were deployed at various locations to monitor the power network and respond to any emergencies during the processions, said a release.
Large gatherings were reported in areas including Khadki, Shivajinagar, Gaothan, Wadarwadi, Ramoshiwadi, Gokhalenagar and Sus Road. The arrangem...
