Madrid, March 19 -- The 29th round of La Liga games comes on the eve of the final international break of the season and promises to be vital in both the race for the title and the struggle to avoid relegation.

The weekend promises four potentially decisive matches - two at either end of the league table. League leader FC Barcelona is at home to Rayo Vallecano on Sunday lunchtime in a game thatcould see Hansi Flick's team temporarily open a seven-point lead over Real Madrid at the top ofLa Liga.

Barcelona stunned Newcastle United on Wednesday night with a 7-2 win in the Champions League, although it did pay an injury price with goalkeeper Joan Garcia suffering a calf injury that could see Wojciech Szczesny play in goal.
