New Delhi, Sept. 14 -- The Department of Posts has permitted Postal Circles to use official online portals, QR codes, and DigiLocker for the verification of OBC, SC, ST, and EWS caste/category certificates for the online engagement of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), wherever such facilities are officially available.
The main aim of this initiative is to address delays caused by difficulties in obtaining physical verification reports from state authorities.
