Siliguri, April 24 -- Incidents of post-poll tension, political clashes, and administrative lapses have surfaced from different parts of North Bengal after Thursday's first phase of Assembly elections.

In the Dabgram-Fulbari assembly segment, near Siliguri, political tension escalated following allegations of an attack on BJP workers. According to party sources, several BJP supporters were allegedly assaulted by Trinamool Congress workers on Thursday night, leaving multiple persons injured.
