Chennai, May 21 -- The Finance Ministry portfolio initially allotted to K A Sengottaiyan when he was sworn in on May 10, was shifted and given to N Marie Wilson, who was made the Finance Minister.
Mr Sengottaiyan was redesignated as Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management and will handle subjects of Revenue, District Revenue Establishment, Deputy Collectors, Disaster Management, Boodhan, Gramadhan and Legislative Assembly.
After the expansion of the cabinet, Governor R V Arlekar on the recommendations of Chief Minister and TVK Founder allocated portfolios to the new Ministers, with Vijay himself revising some of the departments held by him, besides those held by Minister N.Anand and R Nirmal Kumar.
