Hyderabad, April 17 -- Telangana BC Welfare and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has appealed to union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy to ensure the removal of remarks made in Parliament comparing Telangana to Pakistan.
In a video statement issued from Hyderabad on Friday, the Minister stated that the State had already requested the Hon'ble Speaker to expunge the comments made by Karnataka BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, who had likened Telangana to the partition of India and Pakistan.
He noted that during a recent press conference addressed by union Minister Kishan Reddy, visuals indicated that the MP had acknowledged his mistake.
