Hyderabad, Sept. 14 -- Hyderabad In-charge and Transport & BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday directed officials of GHMC, HYDRAA, Hyderabad Metro Water Works, Electricity, Police and Revenue departments to work in close coordination and take proactive measures to prevent inconvenience to the public amid heavy rains in the city.
Speaking through a video conference with senior officials, the Minister instructed monsoon emergency teams and Air-Tech machines to remain on high alert and directed officials to stay in the field to address problems immediately instead of limiting themselves to office-based reviews.
